If things ever get too hot, the character has a secret bolt hole where they and a few friends can hide out. It is stocked with a week’s worth of food, a bit of gold, a change of clothes, and a couple spare daggers. It’s not comfortable, but it’ll keep the character out of sight until the heat dies down.
