Characters who are a member of the nobility have numerous duties and responsibilities. They are held to a higher standard than the common people in all things, and their punishments for breaking the law or even transgressing on social norms are more serious. In addition, their family is expected to answer the call to war and raise an army at their expense if their liege so commands.
