An acolyte in good standing with the clergy is granted a bed and meal at any temple or shrine of their deity (and sometimes of other deities) upon request. This is limited only by the location’s ability to provide these boons, although even the poorest shrine will attempt to fulfill their duty. In turn, an acolyte who wishes to retain their good standing is expected to use this right sparingly and contribute to the temple’s work while there.
